The EU-funded project Communication about the EU is entering a new 5 year phase of implementation starting on 16 January 2026.
Accordingly, the Europe House network invites all interested candidates to apply for the following vacancies:
PUBLIC SPACE MANAGER (1 post per location)
KRIVA PALANKA, STRUMICA, VELES, BITOLA, STRUGA, TETOVO
Key responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of Europe House as a dynamic public space
- Ensure high visibility, visitor engagement, and a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere
- Support the organization and delivery of engaging public events and activities
- Build and maintain partnerships with local and regional stakeholders and communities
- Ensure the space is safe, clean, well-maintained, and ready for public use
- Keep basic monthly records of running costs and support financial reporting
- Manage and contribute to the Europe House’s local social media channels, including creation and promotion of content related to local activities and events, in coordination with the network team.
Qualifications and key skills:
- A Bachelor’s degree/Fluency in written and spoken English / Fully computer literate
- Experience in business/office/public space management, office administration (assistance, archiving, recording, basic financial management/bookkeeping), social media management
- Working experience in EU funded projects and good understanding of the European Union, EU values, and EU-related topics
- Strong organisational, communication, and coordination skills, with the ability to manage a busy public space, engage diverse audiences, oversee daily operations and social media activities, and work effectively within a networked team environment.

NETWORK MANAGER (1 post per location)
KRIVA PALANKA, STRUMICA, VELES, BITOLA, STRUGA, TETOVO
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and develop the local Europe House network, engaging local and regional audiences
- Strengthen and promote the Europe House brand image at local level
- Encourage active participation of existing and new audiences through interactive and participatory formats
- Identify regional trends, emerging issues, and audience needs, and respond proactively in coordination with the Events Coordinator
- Attract new target groups and multipliers through strategic outreach and partnerships
- Monitor audience engagement and report key developments and insights to the Deputy Team Leader
- Contribute to peer-to-peer exchange within the EH network to share know-how and create synergies
Qualifications and key skills:
- A University degree is not mandatory/Fluency in written and spoken English / Fully computer literate
- Relevant work experience in community engagement, network coordination, outreach, or public engagement
- Demonstrated experience working with diverse target groups and local/regional audiences
- Working experience in EU funded projects and good understanding of the European Union, EU values, and EU-related topics
- Experience in organising or supporting participatory activities, events, or campaigns
- Experience working in a team and coordinating with multiple stakeholders
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences, identify trends and needs, work proactively and independently, and contribute effectively within a networked team
- Dynamic, motivated, highly committed, and reliable, with a willingness to work long-term
EVENTS COORDINATOR (1 post per location)
KRIVA PALANKA, STRUMICA, VELES, BITOLA, STRUGA, TETOVO
Key responsibilities:
- Plan, organise, and implement Europe House events in line with the established programme and ad hoc needs
- Design and deliver engaging, high-visibility public events, including indoor and outdoor activities
- Develop creative event concepts and atmospheres, based on audience feedback and local context
- Manage all logistical, operational, and practical aspects of events, including budgeting and planning
- Coordinate closely with the Network Manager to ensure relevance and audience engagement
- Ensure smooth coordination with the Events Manager in Skopje, contribute to peer-to-peer exchange within the EH network, and support the sharing of know-how and creation of synergies in line with agreed procedures
Qualifications and key skills:
- A university degree in a relevant field/Fluency in written and spoken English/ Fully computer literate
- Proven experience in event planning, coordination, or event programme development
- Demonstrated creativity and ability to design engaging public events
- Experience managing logistics, budgets, and timelines for events
- Good understanding of the European Union, EU values, and EU-related topics
- Experience working in a team and coordinating with multiple stakeholders
- Strong organisational and creative skills, with the ability to plan and deliver complex events, manage logistics and budgets, work proactively under pressure, and collaborate effectively within a networked team
- Dynamic, motivated, highly committed, and reliable, with a willingness to work long-term
