Today, the Black Drim River and Lake Globo\u010dica became our route, with kayaks offering the perfect way to experience them from a completely different perspective.<\/p>\n

To mark World Youth Skills Day, we teamed up with the S<\/strong>ports Club<\/strong> Solaris<\/strong> Struga<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0to organise \u201cThe Eel\u2019s Journey\u201d<\/strong>, a kayaking tour designed to show that the Black Drim and Lake Globo\u010dica are more than just part of a beautiful landscape. They are also places that can bring people together, inspire new experiences and offer a different way to discover the natural surroundings of Struga.<\/p>\n

Following the symbolic route of the European eel, participants had the opportunity to learn the basics of kayaking under the guidance of professional instructors, gain practical skills for safe movement on the water, and get a closer look at the natural wealth of the Black Drim.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Eel\u2019s Journey\u201d was also an opportunity to explore the value of local ecosystems, learn more about the biodiversity that makes this region unique, and remind ourselves that protecting nature begins with understanding it and experiencing it first-hand.<\/p>\n

When we use nature and public spaces creatively and responsibly, the possibilities are truly endless.<\/p>\n
