\u201cThis is a house of spirits, of memories, of lives lived. Let\u2019s take a moment to go backwards. To the first days when this house was opened\u2026.1962.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

When we moved into our newly built house with a studio near Vardar on April 18, 1962, the finishing works were still in progress. Lazar wanted so much to finally enter his first real studio. But soon the house was threatened by the great flood that hit Skopje on November 16 and 17 of the same year: the water from Vardar filled the basement to a height of 1.20 m, causing damage.<\/em> – These are the words of Lichenoski\u2019s wife Zoa, by all accounts a formidable person in her own right and also an artist.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
