With the beginning of the accession negotiations with the European Union, the EU Delegation begins with visits to the Macedonian municipalities and will conduct meetings with ordinary citizens. The goal is to establish a dialogue and answer any questions related to future steps in the accession process.<\/p>\n
The first in the series of visits of the Ambassador David Geer was in Kavadarci. He kicked off a meeting with the Mayor Mitko Janchev, as well as with the members of the Municipality council. The walk through Kavadarci was inevitably spent in the company of the local celebrity Borche Stamenov, European of the Year for 2021, as well as Gjorgi Ristov, Young European Ambassador.<\/p>\n
After the exemplary culinary experience prepared by the women’s association “Skilled Women”, we spent the afternoon together with the representatives of civil organizations and with the people of Kavadarci, engaging in a conversation about the impact of the accession process and EU membership and the impact it has on their daily lives.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":19461,"template":"","class_list":["post-19474","gallery","type-gallery","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"yoast_head":"\n
